Credit Application Terms and Conditions
Standard Terms and Conditions
1) All outstanding balances must be paid strictly within the set agreed terms.
2) Failure to credit your credit facility within the set terms may be subject to a £25 admin fee.
3) If you require an increase on your credit facility, you must first contact your BTE Automotive Ltd account manager to ascertain that the credit facility increase is available to you.
4) BTE Automotive Ltd reserve the right to use a money claim service in the event that any outstanding balances owed outside your set term basis are not paid.
5) If you are unable to meet your account payment schedule, BTE Automotive Ltd reserves the right to use the correct legal methods to ascertain all outstanding balances.
6) BTE Automotive Ltd are not authorised by the Financial Services Authority, however you will be charged interest on your outstanding balance. The interest charged if you are a business for late paying (for goods or a service) is classed as ‘statutory interest’ - this is 8% plus the Bank of England base rate for business to business transactions. Interest will be charged at 8% for non-business entities.
7) You have the right to termite your credit agreement at any time. You can do this by sending a written notice of cancellation. Your account balance must be credited for you to cancel this agreement.
8) Conditions which may affect you; a £25.00(default) charge will be forced if:
i) You have not credited your account before within before the credit period expires.
ii) You pay a cheque and this cheque defaults as insufficient funds are available to credit your BTE Automotive Ltd account.
These penalties will be automatically added to your BTE Automotive Ltd credit facility.
9) All payments received will be credited to the longest owing debt,
These debts will include:
i) Default/ Penalty charges
ii) Legal Expenses
iii) Account Balances (Oldest Invoice First)
10) If at any time a dispute of differences shall arise in relation to any contract with BTE Automotive Ltd, The Retail Motor Industry Federation (RMIF) conciliation service may be appointed to service both parties.
11) All replacement components will be withheld for a period that BTE Automotive Ltd deem suitable for independent inspection (minimum 7 days).
12) All replacement components are be covered by a minimum 12 month/ 12,000 mile warranty.
