Barry Parker
Managing Director
The driving force of the company. Barry is the son of company founders David and Jan. Barry completed his automotive apprentice technician training in 2003 and has continued his development with BOSCH, advancing with his diagnostic knowledge and marketing skill set. His passion for the company is evidential and has a clear vision for the company future. He has an extreme attention to detail with both the client and his team. Barry oversees all business operations on a day to day basis.
David Parker
Managing Director
Dave operates behind the scenes these days, but is often within the workshop to ensure our high standards are maintained. 'DP' as he is known, has an unrivalled technical knowledge of mechanical systems including engine and transmission systems. DP has built, raced and developed many sports and performance vehicle(s) including his own GTD R42 road legal, 6.1 litre V8 Big Block Powered Chevrolet race car- to name but a few!
Jan Parker
Managing Director
Jan now operates behind the scenes, but is often seen around the reception area(s). A very popular member of the team, and has built a long standing rapport with many of our clients spanning over many generations. Jan has been with the company for over 27 years and her bubbly (and busy) personality ensure whatever your enquiry - it will be dealt with. We have recently purchased a ball and chain to try and slow her down.
Jessica Parker
Managing Director
Jess works behind the scenes in our accounts and administration team. Working across HR to ensure our team have all tools at their disposal to be as efficient as possible. Building part of the family legacy, Jess is focused on the success of the business, our identity and how we can best support our community.
Mikki Coombes
Service Manager
Mikki joined us in 2015 after a successful trial period and has operated as an integral part of the team. Mikki has proven her ability in vehicle detailing, quality control and customer service. Mikki has progressed into a dynamic customer service advisor role and recently advanced into an assistant manager role. You will almost certainly talk to Mikki during your visit, she is very hard working and a popular team member - will move mountains to help and assist people.
Amy Perfect
Assistant Service Manager
Amy joins us in a progressive career change in the automotive industry. Impressively working across customer service and quality assurance, Amy is integral to the customer journey. Quality control is in Amy's DNA. You will most likely meet Amy at Key Handover or speak to her whilst your vehicle is with us. Her passion for the industry and commitment to building lasting relationships make her a highly valued member of the BTE team.
Naomi Halfacre
Service Advisor
With nine plus years of experience in the automotive industry, Naomi brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role as Service Advisor. She is dedicated to delivering excellent customer care, ensuring clear communication between our workshop team and our customers. Naomi’s approachable nature, professionalism, and problem-solving skills help create a smooth, positive experience for every client.

Our experienced team of vehicle technicians have over 100 years of combined automotive knowledge.
Our team use the latest diagnostic and hand tools to ensure your vehicle is with people that know. We provide video inspection(s) direct from our workshop floor and always offer free and impartial advice.
Dave Richards
Vehicle Technician/ MOT Tester
Despite being a Tottenham Hotspur fan, Dave is a superb, experienced vehicle technician! A senior technician that is an asset to the team, Dave has experienced every vehicle type and his mechanical experience of both classic and modern motor vehicles is exceptional. A true team player, but like we have said, a spurs fan....
Darren Batty
Vehicle Technician (Ex-Porsche)
Darren has a solid background in sports, performance and prestige vehicles. After his apprenticeship through a well known Porsche Specialist, Darren has spent his career to date working in independent performance car specialist(s) gaining in-depth knowledge and experience of working on performance specific systems.
Jack McCall
Apprentice Vehicle Technician
Jack expands his role in the BTE Family. After completing three years of training in engineering, Jack has excelled in his first two years in Automotive Engineering. His application in the modern apprenticeship program has advanced his knowledge and skillset. A polite, friendly and courteous engineer.

His dedication to developing his technical skills, combined with his hands-on approach, makes him a strong asset to our workshop team. Sam is committed to building a long-term career in the automotive industry and is already proving himself to be a reliable and capable member of BTE.
Shay Townsend
VOSA Approved MOT Tester
Shay joins BTE after completing an engineering course and brings with him fresh ideas, enthusiasm, and a strong technical foundation. As one of the industry’s exciting new talents, he has a keen eye on progression and is eager to expand his skills within our workshop. Shay’s passion for engineering and determination to grow make him a valuable part of our future team.
