BTE AUTOMOTIVE RESPOND TO CORONAVIRUS

Its a serious situation and the COVID19 Pandemic is something BTE are taking extremely seriously. We have provided each team member with a NEW Coronavirus specific employment policy to ensure the personal safety of each team member and our valuable customers.

We continue to monitor Government advice and will act as required to assist in social distancing and/ or the requirements set out by law.

See below some of the actions we are taking to battle the global pandemic and isolate the spread of the virus in our workplace

INTRODUCTION

The Company is committed to ensuring the health and safety of all employees. To this end, our policy sets out steps that the Company is taking in order to tackle the coronavirus outbreak, alongside expectations that are placed upon employees.

INFECTION CONTROL MEASURES

We strongly encourage all employees to follow these guidelines from the World Health Organisation on infection control, both whilst at work and in their daily lives. This includes:

• frequently cleaning their hands by using alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water
• when coughing and sneezing, covering mouth and nose with flexed elbow or tissue, throwing
this tissue away immediately and washing their hands
• avoiding close contact with anyone who has a fever and cough.

TEMPORARY BUSINESS CLOSURE

As time progresses, it may become clear that the business is temporarily unable to continue its operations as normal. In this scenario, we may be forced to close all, or part, of the business temporarily until such a time as we are able to resume operations. We will do everything we can to ensure that this does not happen

HOW WE WILL CONTINUE

With the impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) affecting the way that we all work and live, we wanted to provide you with an update on how BTE Automotive will continue to support you during the coming weeks.

BTE Automotive will remain active and operational until further notice. We have increased our already diligent hygiene procedure to include even more processes that will significantly reduce the potential spread of any virus, this includes;

- Collection and Delivery of Vehicles
- Temporary Shutdown of our valeting services
- Sanitising solution available for customers
- Team members wearing gloves
- Additional Hand Washing Procedures
- Clear direction on how we work during a pandemic
- FREE maintenance repair works to KEY WORKER vehicles

We provide many services within our community and to vital public health and key workers. We feel we are part of the network that supports the community and will work diligently up to a point that we are required to not be here.

Thank you all for your support!
